Subject Description: This Corinthian prostyle temple has been tentatively identified as the capitolium of the sea-side town, possibly Salona, which Trajan passes through on his way to the second war.

Tool & Technical Description: A flat chisel was used on the architrave and a scraper on the columns and the spaces between. The columns also show an incised line down their centres, apparently guides for the stone carver. See slide 205.10717 for similar lines.
